Flyers vs. Penguins: Great game by Vanbiesbrouck! I love him so much. And I just found out we have the same B-day, September 4, ain't I special? Anywayz, the Flyers have recovered from their loss from Thurday and beat the Penguins 3-1. And McGillis sure threw his weight around, taking the Penguin's star player, Jaromir Jagr, out of the game.

Flyers vs. Kings: I was at this game, and it STUNK. The Flyers basically stood there and waved at the puck as it passed 'em. Absolutely PATHETIC effort, the only person showing energy and kept them in the game was Brian Boucher, who was phenomenol. Jody Hull and Gino Odjick also put in solid efforts, along with the new guy, Kent Manderville. As for LeClar, Recchi(to name a few) they were horrible. They had expected an easy game, and just basically took the night off. Flyers lost in overtime, 3-2. Oh, and Simon was out with the flu, poor guy. GET WELL SOON! (((should I send him chicken soup? LOL)))

Alrighty, I missed a couple games, yes I know I'm evil, but I'm offering a link to Caitlin's Simon Gagne site for game results HERE

Flyers vs. Bruins- Flyers DOMINATED the Bourque-less Bruins, winning 6-2. And once again, pay homage to Simon Gagne, who scored his 3rd goal in 24 hours (2 goals against the Rangers the night before) and also had 2 assists.

Flyers vs. Rangers- Flyers lost 3-2, but SIMON SCORED 2 GOALS! GO SIMON! TAKE THAT ALL YOU SIMON/ROOKIE CRITICS!

Flyers vs. Canadiens: Didn't see it, but score was 1-1. Darn ties.

Flyers vs. Coyotes- GO FLYERS! Flyers win 4-1, thanks to the efforts of Keith Primeau (who scored 2 third period goals) and JOHN VANBIESBROUCK, who made absolutely phenomenal saves. Go Flyers!

Flyers vs. Coloado Avalanches- Flyers lost 3-1, didn't see any of it, so I don't know what happened.

Flyers vs. Capitals- Flyers won, 3-1, partially due to the efforts of newly required Rick Tocchet, welcome home #92!

Flyers vs. Tampa Bay Lightning- Flyers win 3-2 thanks to Eric Desjardin

Flyers vs. Islanders: grrr! I seriously hate the Islanders. Grr Flyers lost in overtime 4-3. On a good note, Simon scored, again! yay. Did anyone see the interview after the game with Brian Boucher, he looked so sad and dejected! And he looked like he was ready to deck thoses reporters. Grrrrr, angry/depressed goalie, scary thing.

Flyers vs. Boston Bruins: YAY! Shout-OUT for the Flyers! WOOHOO! GO BOUCHER! 3-0! And to top it off, our Simon scored the first goal, which was followed by a goal by the returning Eric Lindros and Keith Jones. What a day for the Flyer rookies! Did anyone else notice Ray Bourque pick up the puck after the game? hmmmmm, wonder where he's going...

Flyers vs. Dallas Stars: Shutout for Dallas 2-0. GRRRRRRRRR No further comment

Flyers vs. St. Louis Blues: Flyers lost 3-2, really close, the Flyers came close to tying it up, but alas, it was to no avail.

Flyers vs. Islanders: woowwwwwwww. Just wow. Flyers CRUSHED the Islanders, 5-1. Geez, and Simon scored the 3rd goal! YAY! clap for Simon.  I danced around the house for 2 hours before my mom said I wasn't allowed to have any caffeine before/during/directly after a Flyer's game anymore. Vanbiesbrouck played extremely well, I still believe he's a terrific goalie, despite all the bad reports going on right now. He was the Flyers #1 until about 2 months ago, but it's a long season, there's bound to be a slump somewhere. Yes, I love Boucher too,  but I hafta pick Beezer as my #1. Oh, and if your wondering why the text is a diff. color, I was bored, and had 2 liters of Surge, dangerous combination.

Flyers vs. Penquins- 4-3 Flyers, yeah baby. Thanks to LUKE, we won in overtime. Slow game, no cool fights, no Jagr, no Lindros, sigh. Oh and a note, now I'm not repealing my devotion to Simon, because I thing he's good and willl be great in the future, but he THINKS too much. It's hasn't become instincts yet. When it does, he'll be a terrific player.

Flyers vs. Blackhawks- 3-1 Flyers. TERRIFIC Game, All's I'm gonna say is that we should all get on our knees and pay homage to the almighty rookie goalie named Brian Boucher, the stuff he pulled left even Beezer with a dropped jaw.

Flyers vs. Rangers: ANOTHER WIN! 3-2, go Flyers go! Oh what an awesome game, little action till the third period, then the Flyers really turned it on. Note, applause to Craig Ramsey, who is taking over for Neilson; it was a great game. And HATS OFF TO JOHN LECLAIR; HE GOT HIS 30TH GOAL! yay LECLAIR! LETS GO FLYERS!

Flyers vs. Capitals: FLYERS WON! FLYERS WON! Yeah baby, you like that! (((note to self; mental help needed))) Score 4-2 and the CAPS went DOWN BABY!

Flyers vs. Islanders: score 2-2; anotttthhhher tie. Geez, I didn't watch it so I have no clue what went on.

Feb. 15, Flyers vs. Devils: Once again, a grrrrr. Flyers lost 4-2. Langkow(sp?) accidently knocked the puck in our own net, so I'm sure the Devil's enjoyed that. Both Langkow and Recchi scored, but it didn't come close to slowing the Devils. For the record, the Devils are my most hated team, and there goalie Brodeur is my most hated player. Why? Because he was laughing the last couple minutes. Every time the camera panned to him, he was having a grand 'ol time. Should've sent out McCarthy earlier, wipe that smirk off his face and into the ice. (((geez, that was bitter, wasn't it?)))

2/12/2000 Flyers vs. Buffalo Sabres: Yeah baby, Flyers won, thanks to John LeClair. Absolutely AWESOME game. Things were kind of slow the first 2 periods, but the third and overtime were crazy. I think the Sabres had only 2 or 3 shots, and the Flyers had over 20! Simon Gagne played a terrific game, I loved it in overtime when that Sabre was holding onto Gagne's hockey stick and Simon just kicked the puck to LeClair, which led to the concluding goal, what an awesome play! Score 3-2.

Note: I missed the Flyers/Oilers game, but the Flyers lost.

2/9/2000 Flyers vs. Toronto: WOOHOO! The Flyers won, the Flyers won, 4-2 baby! Awesome game, Sandy McCarthy was really throwing his weight around, as was Primeau. And yes, our guy Simon scored a goal! Woohoo! LET'S GO FLYERS!

ALL-STAR GAME; N.America vs. World team: Ahhhh! N. America lost 9-4, it was entertaining. Both teams were high energy, and for 13 points to be scored...geez, I realize why they said the All Star game was a goalie's nightmare!

Flyers vs. Anaheim Mighty Ducks: Yup, yet another tie. Score was 3-3. REALLY good game, lots of action, especially in the third period. Anyne else think it was pretty darn cool seeing an airborne Primeau? Or that the Anaheim goalie will be in great pain?

Flyers vs. Washington Capitals: Another GRRRRRR. Flyers lost 2-0, I'm not going to comment much, but there was a lot of scoring chances.

Flyers vs. Montreal Canadians: Grrrrrr , another stupid tie. Score ended 2-2. The game featured a close up of Simon at one time. (Yes I was jumping around for a good 1/2 hour) Anyone else see John Vanbiesbrouck go after that dude? Go goalie go!

Flyers vs. Florida Panthers: Flyers win 4-2. I'm not gonna say much cause I was really mad about Lindros being jumped like that. Oh, good note, SIMON SCORED THE FIRST GOAL FOR THE FLYERS! WOOHOO!

Flyers vs. Pittsburg Penguins: Another tie. The ending score was 4 to 4. A lot of points were scored. I didn't see much of it, but the little I saw was fights, oh the  entertainment...Alright, just in case ANYone isn't sick of my finisher, LET'S GO FLYERS!

Flyers vs. Ottawa Senators: WOOHOO! They didn't lose! They tied! Yeah baby! A lot better then losing, that's for sure. So  now I'm a very happy Kathryn, as you can tell. One question, what kind of name is the Senator's? Is anyone intimidated by "the Senators"? Were they in the back of the line when they were picking out cool team names? Time for the classic; LET'S GO FLYERS!

Flyers vs. Florida Panthers: ::sob:: come on Flyers, don't you love me? sighhhhh Flyers lost 3-1. (((think positive, think positive)))It's only 1/2 way through the season, they're bound to be in a slump somewhere, I'm sure they'll recover soon. LET'S GO FLYERS!

Flyers vs. Devils: Grrrrrrrr Do I really have to report this? This game stunk. sigh...Flyers lost horribly, 4-1. Stupid Devils. Though I really can't insult them. The Flyers have great offense, but the defense is just ok. The devils offense is obviously awesome, the team is also great at defense, and there goalie is out of this world. Grumble. Throw in the loss of Lindros, (the rest of the Flyers HAD to be worrying about his well-being) and the Devils had it in the bag. Ah well, we'll see how they do against Florida the 17th. Let's go Flyers!
